Wow, I love all the pictures that you sent me that looks like fun. Good luck Russell Muscle! I know you´ll do great. I love your posters. They are really good. Don´t worry about the temple picture. We gave it to Miguel from our cameras. Thats exciting for President Bell. BYU-Hawaii is awesome! Let me know when Tristan gets his call!!!
That´s crazy what happened with Kacie. It really was a miracle. We had a miracle of our own this week. Do you remember me telling you anything about a lady named Teresa? We call her the "dry-member." The missionaries found her about four years ago and she has been coming to church ever since then, but she couldn´t get baptized because she was married to someone but is now living with a new man. She has read the Book of Mormon 3 or 4 times already and has had all of the missionary lessons several times. 23 years ago she escaped from her husband and they were separated but not divorced. Since then she has been with Victor and they come to church every week. She has always wanted to get baptized but couldn´t, because for ex husband refused to cooperate and sign the divorce papers. Several times the elders have gone with her to find her ex and get him to sign the papers, but he refused to even talk to them. Then this week we decided to go with her to talk to him. We found him and he actually came down out of the house to talk. We explained everything to him and showed him the divorce papers but he still refused to sign them. He kept saying that it would be impossible for him to sign them. He ended up taking the papers and told us to come back Friday and he was going to talk to a lawyer. Then, Thursday night we were at our Noche de Cine that we do every week at the church. We were getting everything ready and Teresa showed up. She was really excited about something. I was kind of surprised because she hadnt come to the Noche de Cine in a long time. She shook my hand and told me that he signed the papers and gave them to her! The missionaries in our ward and our district have prayed and fasted for this for a long time, about four years, and now it has finally happened! That was the major stumbling block. Now she just has to do a few things, pay some money, and organize her marriage to Victor with the city. We are hoping that she can do it all this week so she can get baptized on Friday or Saturday. I have faith that it is possible.
We also have Tatiana who is pretty much for sure getting baptized on Friday. She is excited and really wants to do it. She just has to pass her interview on Thursday night. Our zone is planning a Noche Blanca on friday night. I forget how many exactly, but I think it´s going to be something like 15 baptisms at one time in the stake center from all around the zone. Karina was supposed to be baptized on the 28th as well, but her baptism fell through. She was able to come to church on Sunday and she told us that she wasn´t too sure if she wants to do it yet. We think she has an "iceberg," and we are going to have to resolve it before she will be baptized. She always gives us little excuses like she wants to learn more, but we feel like there is something more. Nobody is exactly sure when Hermana Hayde is supposed to get home. She doesnt have a cellphone and she never gave anyone a sure date when she should be home. They dont have a lot of good communication in that family. They all think she should get home late the night of the 28th, so we are going to have to postpone her baptism and she still need to doublecheck how she feels about the church and everything. It has been a while since we were last able to visit her.
This week we had Multizonas with la zona Magdalena, Elder Gonzalez´s last zone. It was really good, and we learned a lot. My favorite part though was after lunch one of President Borg´s old missionary companions came and talked to us about the atonement of Christ. He gave us all a list with all of the occurrences of the atonement in their sequence of events from the Bible. Then we went through and read everything that really happened and he helped us analyze everything within those passages. It was really interesting and the spirit was really strong. The spirit is always really strong when we give respect to and contemplate the Atonement of our Savior and what it really means for us. All of the blessing that we have in our lives are in some way an extension of the Atonement of Christ. I am so grateful for my Savior and what he has done for me and I know that he lives. I have felt his presence and have seen his hand working in my life here as a missionary in Lima, Peru.
Hermana Brake was super excited to get the chocolate. She says "gracias." She tried reading your note and said, " wait, it´s in English, come help me translate it!"

PS. Some pictures that Elder Tasker gave me from the Pday were we rode bikes up to the Cristo in Chorrillos. The one picture has most of our zone in it. There are only 20 of us in Zona Callao. (Only the survivors made it into the picture! Haha!)
